The story
Inseparable from its reputation as "the land of lakes and volcanoes" is Nicaragua's legacy as a "country of poets," rendering a resistance that is encountered in all physical senses. CONCRETE RESOURCES examines the enmeshment of poetry and violence within Nicaragua's national identity, considering U.S. intervention and extraction in the larger void of the isthmus.
