The story

A group of newcomers share their stories of how they left the cities and ended up in Alma Vii, Richiş, or Biertan. For some, the move means getting closer to nature and a slower pace of life; for others, it’s about reconnecting with their family roots, the opportunity to work remotely, or the desire to participate in the restoration of their heritage. The locals’ perspective, however, complicates the idyllic image of the village.
