The story
Some call them “welfare bums.” Others call them lazy and lucky. They are judged and looked down on. Yet anyone can find themselves living on social assistance. Welfare tells the story of four people who share their struggles with us. Can they get their heads above water? Can they move beyond what some still call “welfare”?
