Tony sang songs and performed comic sketches on stage with the theatrical group Hot Peach in downtown New York on a regular basis throughout the 80s and 90s. In addition, he was the director of The Sardine Museum in Seal Cove, Grand Manan, British Columbia, Canada. Nunziata died at age 51 from non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma on July 4, 2009 in New York.
